The 2023 Message of the President Philippine Venue

A most pleasant and wonderful evening to all the poets who are gathered to celebrate the 2nd Philippine Venue Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala 2023
To the Chinese Poetry Sprin g Festival Beijing President #Qu_Jinxing and Vice-President #Yu_Hongying, A Happy and prosperous #Chinese_Spring_Festival and #Chinese__Lantern_festival today 2023.
It’s in 2019 when through #Tian Yu’s recommendation, the Chinese Poetry Spring Festival in Beijing decided and approved to hold a #Chinese_Poetry_Spring_Festival_Gala_Philippine_Branch and I was appointed as the President.
And we planned to organize a physical program here in the Philippines. But the pandemic did not allow that.
Together with the appointed officials of this 2023 Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala, we come with voice and with one heart in thanking and congratulating all the poets in China and all over the world. Poetry is something that is magical.
Despite the pandemic there is a great legacy that COVID 19 brought to the literary world especially to us poets and authors and artists.
The poets were able to compose more poems during lockdown, met lots of poets from different countries and backgrounds and were able to participate in various literary events and programs via virtual platforms. Poets lavishly fill the social media with our poetic innuendos, verses, and pearls of wisdom.
We prettymade a lot of friends and acquaintances, have published numerous literary works and participated many times in international publications of anthologies, digital and printed.
Poetry inspires and it also breaks language barriers.
Many poets became translators to be able to reach a wide range of readers.It also sharpens our minds and vocabulary skills.
We are grateful indeed that we are able to read our poems and reach more poetry and literary lovers. And that is the most important to be able to poetically express ourselves, our thoughts, our feelings, and dreams, our visions, and sometimes even our disappointments.
On this celebration of the 2023 Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala (Philippine Venue) together with my fellow poets from the Philippines, it is my honor to address and welcome all the poets from the different countries.
Let us give our best readings and recitations of our lovely poems this evening. Thank you so much.
And would like to thank #Tian Yu for choosing to work with me , and to all of us. He has been our beloved brother and my son since 2018. He is a hardworking person and we are all fond of him.
Welcome to all the poets who have been chosen to share their muses and to all the guest poets who have joined us on our virtual poetry program. Thank you very much.
Exultation of Spirit
“When the blue of the night meets the gold of the day”
When the fusion of cold drops kissed the gasping dirt
As another unveiling of blue curtains oblivious to
Every splendor that has every blossom, every leaf,
Every sparrow and roosters singing wildly,
Every sound of creatures is giving us new hopes,
that makes us love to live in the pasture land of the living,
and every shade of smiling arches of hues that
we love to watch every time it peeps behind the charcoal sky
Oh what a state of felicity!

As every heart wonders at the peak of experiencing life
To have a glimpse of the quintessence of every living
The daily old experienced
The innocent gaze of a baby every morning
The murmuring of kittens waiting for their meal
The fulfillment of caressing the hand of the beloved
It is what they called the “secrets of life”
Unfurling in our naked eyes.
Oh what a state of Felicity!
